Based on true incidents in Sri Lanka, the agonies, pain, hazard & troubles faced by a young mother with a child, while searching for her missing husband on the last day of the war (May 18th, 2009) in Sri Lanka. This film was produced with the aim of making everyone know the after-effects of the 30-year war and making the majority Sinhalese community and the world aware of the real political situation of the minority Tamil community is facing. Some of the characters in the film are people who have been directly involved in wartime incidents. In the film, the heroine loses the trace of her husband during the Mullivaaikkaal ( the place of the final war in Sri Lanka) offensive. She faces many painful situations which portrays what the common people at that time faced. Netunjchimul Artistes are entirely from Sri Lanka. Furthermore, all the main Technicians are also from Sri Lanka.
